Moving to a new country is never easy. Although this was just a return to Holland for us, we still found it rather involved to get everything going. After a terrible experience with a large bank, we were referred to Liaget by the Mortgage broker at the bank. We were in a very precarious position of needing to apply for a mortgage urgently.

From the moment I spoke to Liaget, I could tell that he knew what he was doing.  He made me feel at ease, and was able to instruct and advise us on the process in a very hands-on, client friendly manner.

They say talk is cheap, but Liaget also delivered the service, and in a very timely manner.  From start to finish, the process took two days – this is compared to two weeks of constant back and forth with a large bank.

Above all, I appreciated the personal touch – Liaget responded to our emails immediately, even after hours, and the service was flexible and tailored to our needs. In addition, he paid us the courtesy of a home visit even after the paperwork was finalised, and also took care of all our utilities and insurance in preparation for our big move. I am truly grateful for the wonderful service I received from the team at Independent Expat Finance – they were there for my wife and I during a very stressful time and I would recommend their services to anyone.

Theo helped me with my complete insurance package with an unbiased advise which was really helpful! Last week, I had an accident with my car and hit a fox on the road.
